Death rates for fan mussels in the Mediterranean

The Princely Government, with the aid of numerous local institutions and in collaboration with a network of international players, is launching a series of campaigns to protect these animals.

These include a breeding project, which will take place at the Monaco Centre for the Treatment of Marine Species, housed at the Oceanographic Museum.

The specimens bred will then be reintroduced to the sea.
